Ombudsman responsible for Children’s Rights, Ms. Fatma Benli Yalçın, participated in the meeting of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Inquiry Committee on School Incidents in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş and Digital Risks on 10 August 2026. As the first institution for seeking legal remedies to receive direct applications from children, the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye shared with the Committee its key findings and recommendations regarding digital risks and school incidents.
